Rosita Mae Mullins
December 18, 1939 - May 10, 2023

Rosita Mae Mullins passed away at the age of 83 on May 10, 2023. She was born December 18, 1939 to Elmer and Lilly Culver.

After graduating from Ponca City High School, Rosita married Gordon Ellis Mullins in July of 1958. From that union, three sons were born. Rosita and Gordon started farming and ranching East of Ponca City near Charley Creek. They were married until Gordon lost his battle with cancer in 1985.

Rosita continued to live on the farm and began the next chapter of her life with James (Jim) DeNoya. That friendship lasted twenty four years until Jim's passing in December of 2010.

Rosita loved being outside. Whether that be her gift with horses, or working in her flower beds. She was a proud member of the Westerner's Club and loved playing cards with friends and neighbors at the Braden Community Center.

Rosita is survived by her three sons and one daughter in law: Gordon (Tripp) Mullins, Thad Mullins, and Travis and Margo Mullins. Seven grandkids: Tia, Gordon, and Karlee (Tripp's kids), Keary, Kord, and Paul (Thad's kids), and Taylor (Travis and Margo's son). Four great grandchildren: Scarlet and Aspen Ray, Harper and Morgan Mullins. She is also survived by one sister, Judy Corbin of Luther Oklahoma. Three brothers, Rocky Auterson of Ponca City, Robbie and Danny Culver of North Carolina

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jerry Culver of Virginia

A service will be held Thursday 10:00 A.M. at Grace Episcopal Church, 109 N 13th St, Ponca City, OK 74601. Burial will follow at Long Wood Cemetery. Her grandkids Keary Mullins, Kord Mullins, Paul Mullins, Gordon Mullins, Karlee Mullins, and Taylor Mullins, will serve as pall bears to lay Rosita to rest.

Plant a flower, work the garden, contribute to a charity of your choice. Thank you to the good people at Ponca City Nursing & Rehab, and Humanity Hospice.
