June Haub, 89, beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother was called to her heavenly father on January 15, 2024. She entered this world on December 23, 1934, in Mooreland, Oklahoma, born to Frederick Wirz and Grace Aldene Reeves Wirz.

June grew up in Mooreland and graduated from Mooreland High School in 1952. In 1950, she met the love of her life, Fred Haub, on a blind date. They were married May 29, 1955, in the Elm Grove Church near Chester, OK and they made their first home in Ponca City, OK. She was employed by CR Anthony and the Government ASC office, prior to marriage. After moving to Ponca City, she was employed by Security Bank until her first child and then became a dedicated mother and housewife.

June enjoyed sewing, cooking, entertaining friends, and cake decorating. She had a passion for Christmas and all the festivities that came with it. She loved getting together with her family and friends and playing games, with dominoes being her favorite. June especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, traveling in the motor home, and traveling abroad visiting her father's family in Switzerland. June was an active member of the Ponca City Assembly of God church where she constantly ministered to others through teaching Sunday School, cooking meals, serving at events, helping in the nursery, or lending a hand to those in need. She was always available and a constant encourager to others.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband Fred Haub of the home, three sons; Dwight Haub and wife Marty of Ponca City, OK, Gene Haub and wife Rene' of Saint Cloud, Florida and Kirk Haub and wife Lora of Ponca City, OK. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

June was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Walter Wirz, and two sisters: Edith Roberts, and Isabelle Clayton.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 20, 2024 in the Ponca Assembly Church, 2313 E. Prospect Ave, Ponca City, OK with Pastor Dewayne Bardwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Longwood Cemetery under the care of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City, OK. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with the family in attendance from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. to receive friends and relatives. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for memorial donations be made to the Ponca City Assembly Church building fund.
