October 27, 1916 - January 6, 2021

Mildred Melissa Nickles, 104, of Kaw City, left to be with the Lord on January 6, 2021. A graveside ceremony will take place at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Grandview Cemetery, Kaw City, OK, with Reverend Gary Wilburn officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home and Crematory.

Mildred was born on October 27, 1916, to William Otis and Carrie Elizabeth (Deathrage) Storm. She married Carroll Nickles in December 1938. From this marriage, 4 children were born; Shirley Jean Morgan, Carrol Keat Nickles, Carl Stanley Nickles and Bobby Joe Nickles.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Carroll; daughter, Shirley; son, Bobby Joe; grandson, Scott Buckman; brother, Carl Doyle Storm; sisters, Edna Viola Storm and Libby English.

Mildred is survived by: sons, Carl Nickles and his wife, Charlotte; son, Keat Nickles and his wife, Kathy; granddaughter, Twila Morgan; sister, Violet Kindle, of Ft. Gibson, OK; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, 445 Fairview Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.
