Bob was laid to rest in Grand View Cemetery in Kaw City following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.

Bob Hargraves was born on February 4, 1950 in Blackwell Oklahoma to his father Alfred William Hargraves and his Mother Opal Irene Campbell Hargraves.

Bob is survived by his daughter Angie Hargraves, his two grandsons Tacoma and Carson Tipton, one brother Bill Hargraves, two sisters Natalie Epperson and Kathy Stanbrough-Rowe and Rod Rowe, and his long time friend Pat Stephenson.

Bob is preceded in death by his Mother Opal Irene Campbell Hargraves, his father Alfred William Hargraves, one Brother Ted Vassar, and his two sisters Delores Sharp and Loretta Garrison.

Bob resided and grew up in Ponca City Oklahoma. He worked construction at Evans and Throops, he also worked as head of security for Titus Incorporated. He then became an entrepreneur and proceeded to open his own business which were a couple of bars and a smoke shop. Bob enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. His favorite thing to do was to spend time with his Daughter Angie and his two Grandsons Tacoma and Carson. Bob loved to search for treasures, whether through metal detecting, thrift store shopping, or garage selling, and loved to collect antiques and coins. He truly enjoyed traveling, back roading with friends, and exploring wherever the road took him.

Bob had many great qualities throughout his time here on earth. He had many dreams and wasn’t afraid to pursue them at any chance he got. Bob had a heart of gold and an amazing sense of humor. Wherever he went, he brought joy and laughter to those around him.

The family greatly appreciates and wishes to acknowledge all the kindness shown during Bob's time of illness and passing.
