Lonny Gene Wayman
July 3, 1967 - February 17, 2025

Lonny Gene Wayman, passed away on February 17, 2025. Lonny was born on July 3, 1967, in Great Bend, KS to Eugene and Kay Ridgeway Wayman. He attended school in Ponca City, OK, graduating in 1985. Following graduation, Lonny joined the Marines and then went on to be a jack of all trades. Worked as a forklift operator, where he met Leigh Ann Largent. The two of them spent the next 17 years making many memories. Lonny began work with Skyline Homes as an electrician, eventually moving into transportation, where he worked for many years. In his free time, he loved listening to music and making his funny videos. He was known to be very intelligent and great with technology, as he could do or fix anything. He was sometimes known to be goofy, and he always made his family laugh. His family affectionately called him "Cowboy".

Lonny is survived by his wife, Leigh Ann Largent of Arkansas City, KS; 3 sons, Gage Wayman of Sand Springs, OK, Joshua Camp of Cambridge, KS and Dakota Camp and wife Megan of Oxford, KS; grandson, Brodryk Camp; mother, Kay Mitchell and husband Frank of Kaw City, OK; brothers, Don Wayman and wife Sandra of Kaw City, OK and Tommy Wayman; step brothers, Andy Mitchell and wife Kelly of Ponca City, OK and Frank Mitchell of Blackwell, OK and step sister, Tammy Baker and husband Chuck of Blackwell,OK.

He was preceded in death by his father Eugene, Grandparents Stella and Willard Rideway, and daughter, Amber Kaylene Wayman.

A Celebration of Life for Lonny will take place on Saturday, March 1st, 2025, 10:30AM at Grandview Cemetery in Kaw City, Oklahoma under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.gracememorialchapel.net.
