July 16, 1874 - January 8, 1961

Alfred Wesley Holt , 86, Braman, died at 4 a.m. Sunday in Blackwell General hospital and funeral services have been set for 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Roberts and Sons chapel.

Delbert Taylor will officiate and burial will be in Braman cemetery.

Mr. Holt, a retired farmer, was born July 16, 1874, in Wellington Kans. He came to Oklahoma in 1898 and had lived in Braman or its vicinity since that time.

He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Clara Holt; seven daughters, Mrs. Hattie Baylor of Braman, Mrs. Dora Prilliman of Lamont, Mrs. Anna Coyer of Blackwell, Mrs. Beulah Hodges, Martin City, Mo., Mrs. Lavina Andrews, Stillwater, Mrs. Zelma Neuman, Mansfield, Mo., and Mrs. Winifred Chitwood, Newkirk; four sons , Dave of the home, Alva of Braman, George of Pawhuska, and Albert of the home; 20 grandchildren , 23 greatgrandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Born to James A. Edwin and Elizabeth J. Edwin in Illinois.

Married to Alfred Wesley Holt.

Services were held Wednesday , Feb . 23, 1972 with burial in Braman Cemetery under direction of Roberts , Blackwell.
