Dimmis E. Heffron ~ ~ ~ 1836-1908

Dimmis E. Ford was born in the state of New York, April 4, 1836. She was married to George Heffron March 25, 1852. She moved to Winfield, Kansas, March 3, 1880, and to Oklahoma in 1896.

Mrs. Heffron united with the Me. E. Church at Winfield in 1889. She died at her home in Braman, Oklahoma, Oct. 18, 1908, at the age of 72 years, 6 months and 14 days.

She was the mother of ten children, six boys and four girls, of which five boys and two girls with her husband survive her to mourn her loss.

Besides her own immediate family she has had four grandchildren left to her patient, motherly care during the past seven years.
