Jerry Dean Belair
November 16, 1945 - May 11, 2025
Jerry Dean Belair, 79, of Blackwell, OK, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025. A graveside memorial service will take place on Saturday, May 17th at 10:00 am at Braman Cemetery, Braman, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.
Jerry was born on Friday, November 16, 1945, in Newkirk, OK, to Cecil Bern and Virginia Clair (Blakey) Belair. He had several careers during his life, but his most loved job was being a diesel mechanic. Jerry enjoyed welding, mud-racing, and loved working on trucks. He also enjoyed flea market shopping and loved OU football. Jerry married Carrol Hale on August 27, 1994, in Clearwater, KS. He was a good man who will be greatly missed by his family.
Jerry is survived by: his wife, Carrol of the home; children, Danny and Peggy Belair, Mike and Karen Belair, Cindy and Jerry Goss, Jennifer and Bobby Mallery; step-children, Lewis Wright, Danny Wright, Dana and John Glidden, Tammy and Johnny Scrogum; siblings, Gary and Nancy Belair, Fred and the late, Cathy Belair, Donald and Carolyn Belair, Randy and Becky Belair; Robert Belair, Debbie and Wally Brannen; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. He was preceded in death by: his parents and step-mother, Geneva.
