Carolyn Ann Willis of Edmond, Oklahoma, died Wednesday evening, May 28, 2008, in the Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 66 years.

Carolyn Ann Willis was born on September 18, 1941, in Tonkawa, Oklahoma, to Clyde Reed and Martha Alice (Pickard) Robinson. She grew up in Tonkawa attending Tonkawa Public Schools graduating in 1959. She then furthered her education by attending Northern Oklahoma Junior College before transferring to Central State University in Edmond. She married Dr. Jon T. Willis on December 30, 1961, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, and they settled in Oklahoma City where she worked for the Secretary of State at the State Capitol while her husband attended medical school. Following his internship they moved to St. John, Kansas, and she served her family as a homemaker. In 1974 they returned to Edmond and she continued serving her family in many gracious ways. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and over the past several years dedicated herself to helping her family anyway she could. She also enjoyed playing golf with her friends, needlework, attending movies, cooking for family events and was an avid reader. She was an active member of Quail Springs Baptist Church in Oklahoma City where she enjoyed serving as a greeter.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Jon T. Willis of Edmond, Oklahoma; two sons, Brent Willis of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Mark Willis and wife Tracy of Edmond, Oklahoma; a daughter, Susan Roberts and husband Jim of Blackwell, Oklahoma; a brother, Bruce Robinson and wife Judy of Tonkawa, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Landon and Landry Willis of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Vic Roberts of Blackwell, Oklahoma; and many cousins, nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 31st, in the Quail Springs Baptist Church in Oklahoma City with the Rev. Hance Dilbeck and Rev. Roy Moody officiating. Burial will that afternoon at 2:30 p.m. in the Blackwell Cemetery in Blackwell, Oklahoma.
