Ruby Joyce Williams of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013, in the Blackwell Regional Hospital in Blackwell at the age of 84 years.

Ruby Joyce Williams was born on December 9, 1928, in Stroud, Oklahoma, to John Thomas and Alta Mae (Loman) Loveall. As one of fifteen children, Joyce grew up in Stroud and attended Stroud Public Schools. In 1946 she moved to Blackwell where she met James R. Williams and they were married on October 24, 1947 in Blackwell. She served her family as a homemaker and together they raised six children. He preceded her in death on May 3, 2002, and she continued to make Blackwell her home. She enjoyed staying at home with her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Emily Joyce Bovard; five sons, James Scene Williams, Richard Andrew Williams, Rodney Alan Williams, Claude Carl Williams and William Lee Williams; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and fourteen siblings, Jack, Flossie, Violet, Forrest, Virgil, Troy, Lucille, Leo, Leonard, Wanda, Goldie, Opal, Ernest “Bud”, and Junior Loveall.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 15th in the Blackwell Cemetery with the Rev. Matt Smith of Immanuel Baptist Church officiating.
