March 29, 1937 - July 3, 2020

Joan Carol Wilbur of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away July 3, 2020, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 83. She was born March 29, 1937, in Kinsley, Kansas, the daughter of Leland and Thelma Allbaugh Meade. She married Paul Wilbur on June 2, 1957 in Blackwell, Oklahoma and was a homemaker. Joan lived in Mountain Home since moving from Little Rock in 1977. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting and sewing, reading and working puzzles, the Methodist Church and singing in the choir.

Joan is survived by her husband, Paul Wilbur of Mountain Home, AR; two sons, Mark (Jeanine) Wilbur of Paragould, AR, Perry Wilbur of Springdale, AR; daughter, Beth (Steve) Luelf of Cotter, AR; five grandchildren, Lauren Wilbur, Nicholas Wilbur, Spencer Wilbur, Alexander Luelf and Benjamin Luelf.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Maurice Meade.

Funeral Services for Joan will be 2:00 pm, Monday, July 6, 2020 at First United Methodist Church of Mountain Home, with Reverend Keith Dodson officiating. Pallbearers will be Mark Wilbur, Perry Wilbur, Beth Luelf, Steve Luelf, Ben Luelf and Alex Luelf. Seating will be limited and masks are required.

Burial will be in the Blackwell Cemetery, Blackwell, OK, 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 8, 2020.
