Mary Bell Webb of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Monday, October 31, 2011, in the Willow Haven Nursing Home in Tonkawa at the age of 89 years.

Mary Bell Webb was born on July 14, 1922, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, to Lester and Lima M. (Brewington) Lund. She grew up in Blackwell and graduated from Blackwell High School. She married Don H. Webb on July 9, 1941, in Chandler, Oklahoma, and she served her family as a homemaker. Her husband preceded her in death on January 26, 1997, and she continued to make Blackwell her home until moving to Tonkawa. She made ceramics and taught others in her home. She was a noted cook, loved animals, especially her cats, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of Christ’s Church in Blackwell.

She is survived by a daughter, Ann Roberts and husband Ron of Palm Coast, Florida; two sons, Jon Webb and wife Marsha of Blackwell and Curtis Webb and wife Betty of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Doris Carr; and two brothers, Robert and Richard Lund.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 2nd in the Blackwell Cemetery with the Rev. C. M. Wilson of the Braman United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.
