Wanda Schooling of Blackwell, Oklahoma passed away the morning of April 8, 2016 at the Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 65 years. Wanda Lee Kindle was born on September 23, 1950 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jessie Lee and Lela Mae (Turner) Kindle.

She graduated from Blackwell High School in 1969, and went on to marry Joseph Patrick Schooling in Wellington, Kansas in 1971. Wanda loved taking care of her family, playing cards, and doing crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Schooling of Blackwell, Oklahoma, a daughter, Lacy Dawn Bufford and fiancé Shawn of Blackwell, Oklahoma; a son, Danny Joe Schooling and wife Judith of Hiram, Georgia; four sisters, Linda Bowhay, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Jeanette Kindle of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Bunny Baugas and husband Doran of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Jackie Reeves and husband Gene of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; a brother, Faron Kindle and wife Ronda of Blackwell, Oklahoma; a brother- in law, Curtis Clanton of Blackwell, Oklahoma; a sister- in- law, Angie Jenkins of Moore, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Hope Bufford, Alexia Edwards, and Ricky Joe Schooling; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Lee Kindle and Lela Mae (Turner) Kindle Hess; her stepfather, Wayne Hess; her brothers, Lester Kindle and Rickey Kindle; a sister, Louise Clanton; a brother- in- law, Lonnie Watson; and a step brother, Allen Hess.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cap McIlnay officiating. Burial will follow at Blackwell Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Curtis Clanton, Shawn Smith, Wade Kennon, Gene Reeves, Lonnie Rhea, and Braden Kerstein. The family will be hosting visitation at Roberts and Son Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, April 12 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
