Will Stone of Abilene, Kansas
May 6, 1974 - March 23, 2022

Will Stone of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away on March 23, 2022, in Abilene, Kansas at the age of 47 years.

William Leroy Stone III was born on May 6, 1974, in Blackwell, Oklahoma the son of William L. "Chipper" Stone and Antoinette "Cookie" (Peterson) Stone.

He grew up in Blackwell, attending Blackwell Public Schools. He enjoyed the "farm life" and was very active in FFA and loved raising and showing cattle. He excelled in football and wrestling, winning many state championships. He went on to attend Spartan School of Aeronautics. He worked as a truck driver for many years. His favorite thing to haul was cattle.

Will loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with family. He was so proud of his daughters and grandchildren. He had the biggest heart in the world and would do anything for anyone.

Survivors include his parents, Bill and Cookie Stone, of Blackwell; sister, Toni Chilton and husband, Terry of Colorado Springs, Colorado; daughters, Bayleigh Latrice Marie Frank and husband, Matt of Wichita, Kansas and Jacey Taylor Rose Stone of Texas; grandchildren, Brendalynn Anne Marie Frank, Kohle Timothy Stone, Rowan William Charles Frank; nephews, Samuel Hromas, Alexander Hromas; niece, Sarah McKibbin; as well as his life partner, Kathleen Carroll and her children; and many other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Nathan Stone; grandparents, William and Ellen Stone and Chester and Roslie Peterson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening, April 1, 2022, at Roberts and Son Funeral Home. A rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m.

Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Blackwell, 3rd, and Bridge. Burial will follow in Blackwell Cemetery.
