Debra Kay “Debbie” Rancier, of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away on June 20, 2020 in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 59 years.

She was born on June 14, 1961 in Waynesboro, Virginia the daughter of William Robert Edwards and Christine Alease (Dawson) Edwards.

Following her education, she served her family as a homemaker. She also worked at Southwest Cupid in Blackwell for eight years.

Debbie married Alvin Rancier on January 16, 1986 in Wichita, Kansas. He survives. Other survivors include children, Douglas Murray and wife, Crystal, Jeremie Rancier and wife, Michal, Justin Rancier and wife, Chelsie, Aaron Rancier and wife, Ashley and Kali Rancier; grandchildren, Ivee, Ethan, Johnathan, Audrianna, Elizabeth, Bengermin, Anthony and Weston; siblings, Bennie, Sharon, Shirley, Michelle, Carol, Christina and Sheila; father, Bill Edwards; as well as numerous other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Christine; and a brother, Jimmy.

Debbie will be remembered for her love of Mickey Mouse and Bingo. She adored her family, and over the years she claimed many other children as her own, often affectionately referring to them as her “little ones.”

She was a loving wife and mother, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2020 in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, with Rev. Cliff Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Douglas Murray, Jeremie Rancier, Justin Rancier, Aaron Rancier, Ethan Murray and Johnathan Rancier.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
