Twila Olene Pryor
May 14, 1941 - February 4, 2025
Twila Olene Pryor of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away February 4, 2025, in Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home in Blackwell at the age of 83 Years.
Twila Olene Pryor was born on May 14, 1941, in Blackwell to A. W. and Clara (Fisher) Shupe. She grew up in Blackwell and graduated from Blackwell High School in 1959. She worked in janitorial services for the Blackwell Regional Hospital before joining the maintenance staff at Blackwell Middle School. She later worked in the Blackwell Head Start Program where she retired.
She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Blackwell. She enjoyed watching westerns, the Oklahoma Sooners and the Dallas Cowboys. She loved being with her family and sharing time with them.
She is survived by three daughters, Lisa Fink, Phyllis Woodward and Jackie McBrain, all of Blackwell; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Leroy and Rodney Shupe; and a sister, Claracie Ann Shupe.
Services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Monday, Febuary 10th in the First Church of the Nazarene with former pastor Bill Kalfas officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in her honor with the First Church of the Nazarene, 218 South A Street, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
