In 1951, she married George Russell McKaig in Bentonville, AR. They returned to Blackwell to begin their lives together. At that time, she quit working to start a family. Chloe loved playing golf and served a term as president of the Ladies Golf Association at Cedar Valley. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Guthrie where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Chloe and Russell were avid OU football fans with season tickets, traveling to many bowl games through the years. She also loved her cats, who lived great lives in her care.
