William Victor Miller
August 26, 1962 - August 28, 2023

William Victor Miller of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Monday afternoon, August 28, 2023, in Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home at the age of 61 years.

William Victor Miller was born on August 26, 1962, in Blackwell to Victor Lloyd and Virginia Lee (Dougherty) Miller. William grew in Blackwell, living with his parents, and as a young boy attended the Opportunity Center in Ponca City for a few years. Following the death of his parents, he began living with his brother, Delbert until he entered Hillcrest Manor in 2022.

He attended First Free Will Baptist Church in Blackwell and enjoyed cooking, watching cartoon videos, working on bicycles and gardening.

He is survived by three sisters, Melvina Nelsen and husband David of Ponca City, Maxine Miller of Blackwell, and Vickie Cox and husband Earl of Ponca City; two brothers, Delbert Miller of Blackwell and Max Miller and wife Wilma of Blackwell; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Mary Elizabeth and Rosabelle.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 31st in the Blackwell Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Bookout of the First Free Will Baptist Church officiating.

The nieces and nephews of William Miller will serve as honorary casketbearers.

A memorial has been established in his honor with the Blackwell Animal Shelter, 385 Stevens Ave., Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
