Patricia Marie McIntyre
July 31, 1934 - July 20, 2025

Patricia (Patsy) Marie McIntyre passed away on July 20, 2025, in Blackwell, Oklahoma at the age of 90.

Patricia was born in Blackwell, Oklahoma on July 31, 1934, to John Virgil Patrick and Maria Teresa (Stoll) Patrick.

She attended Blackwell Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 1952. She started working at the age of sixteen in a small medical clinic for Dr. White, and continued to work there until he sold the practice.

On September 5, 1959, she married Bonnie Ray McIntyre. They remained in Blackwell, and raised two children, Philip and Brenda. Following Bonnie Ray's death in 2000, Patricia remained in the Blackwell area.

Patricia was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church and served many years as a Sunday School teacher. She later served as a Sunday School coordinator and spent several enjoyable years as a youth group director. She loved horses almost as much as she loved people. She enjoyed sharing her pony, Smokey, with all her nieces and nephews, and the neighborhood kids. She liked giving pony rides and taking kids for rides in her pony cart. She spent many years working at Harvey's Grocery until she retired. She loved to talk and visit with everyone and was always willing to help out when she was able.

She is survived by a sister, Mary Gardner of California; a son, Philip McIntyre and wife Melanie of Ponca City; a daughter, Brenda Dahms and husband Kermit of Glencoe; grandchildren, Kelsey Dahms of Stillwater; Devon Dahms and wife Megan of Waynesville, Missouri; and David Dahms of Stillwater.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bonnie Ray, and five siblings.

A Funeral Service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Blackwell Methodist Church, with Rev. Chris Stinnett officiating. Burial to follow at the Blackwell Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Blackwell Methodist Church in her honor.
