December 16, 1934 - April 24, 2017

Carolyn Ann LaBlue, formerly of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Monday, April 24, 2017, in the Cedarcrest Care Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, at the age of 82 years.

Carolyn Ann LaBlue was born on December 16, 1934, in Blackwell to Hiram and Pearl (Schweisberger) Ragan. She grew up in Blackwell and graduated from Blackwell High School in 1953. She married Robert Kelle on April 30, 1954, in Blackwell and they settled in Blackwell where she served her family as a homemaker. In the early 1970's she began working for Conoco in Ponca City as an administrative assistant. While working for Conoco she attended Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa where she received an associate degree in 1981. She married James LaBlue on January 11, 1980, and they settled in Blackwell and she continued working for Conoco until her retirement after seventeen years of service. She later worked for Shepherd's Convenience Store and the Super 8 Motel in Blackwell. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed dancing and playing cards in various bridge clubs.

She is survived by two sons, Mark Kelle and wife Julie of Broken Arrow and Jeff Kelle of Broken Arrow; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parent; and a son, Ed Kelle.

Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 1st in the Blackwell Cemetery. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.
