May 25, 1954 - February 19, 2023

Larry Wayne Humble of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away on February 19, 2023, at his home at the age of 68 years.

Larry Wayne Humble was born on May 25, 1954 in Blackwell, Oklahoma, the son of Roland Dee Humble and Virginia Mae (Nichols) Humble. He graduated from Blackwell High School and went to work for the ACME Foundry, a few years later he began his welding career at Wetmore's in Tonkawa, doing piece work building grain carts. He then worked for United Fab and built heater treaters and 200 barrel stock tanks before finally landing at what began as Arkla Gas, as a pipeline welder, where he worked proudly for 39 years and 10 days, before retiring on December 15, 2016 from what was then ENABLE Midstream Partners.

Larry enjoyed car and tractor shows. He loved hot rods, fast cars and rock and roll music. He never met a stranger, and loved talking to people, especially family and friends.

Survivors include Michele Gray, his significant other for 11 years, of the home, and her son, Bucko Gray; daughter, Heather (Humble) DeBoard and her sons, Tyson Humble and Gunner DeBoard; son, Craig Humble and wife Aften and their children, Broden and Berkleigh; brother, Rodney Humble (Michelle), and their children, Chris Humble (Brandy) and Crystal Humble; his most cherished baby sister, Lisa (Humble) Jackson and husband, Wayne, and their children, Rachel (Jackson) Brown and husband Tim, Stephanie (Jackson) Wood and husband Rocky; nephews, Nathan, Kyle, and Andrew; as well as many other very loved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ricky Lee Humble; maternal grandparents Bert and Mae Nichols; paternal grandparents Russell and Olga Humble; nieces Ashley Humble, Lillie Humble; and great-nephew Malaki Brown.

Public viewing will take place from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Roberts and Son Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023, at the First Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Bookout officiating. Burial will follow in Blackwell Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pioneer Technology Center Foundation, to be used towards future welding scholarship opportunities, 2101 N. Ash, Ponca City, OK 74601.
