Karen Jane Gonzalez, of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away on November 5th, 2020 at the age of 64 years.

She was born on October 24th, 1956 to D.C. Brewer and Virginia (Eckert) Brewer in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina.

During Karen’s childhood she had the opportunity to live in many states, she even spent some time in Venezuela. When Karen’s family settled in Blackwell, she spent her teen years raising horses. She graduated from Blackwell High School in 1974. In 1980, Karen married Isaias Gonzalez and made a home in Blackwell. She worked at Southwest Cupid for many years as an industrial seamstress until she retired. She loved spending time in her garden, reading the Word, and loving on her grandbabies. She was a member of Christ Church. Above all else, Karen succeeded in becoming a faithful child of the Lord, a most beloved wife, amazing mother, and adored nana.

She is survived by her husband, Isaias Gonzalez of Blackwell; children, Dominique Kingfisher of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Sarah Jack and husband Johnny of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Ryan Gonzalez and Larissa Beasley of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Chelsea Alatorre and husband Rigoof Blackwell, Oklahoma, Deanna DeLodge and husband Dwight of Ada, Oklahoma; grandkids, Genesis, Ava, Dexter, Gavin, Isabella, Roslyn, Dallas, and Julian; mother, Virginia Brewer; and sister, Beverly Smith.

Karen was preceded in death by her father, D.C. Brewer; and a sister, Donna McMartin.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 9, 2020 at House of Prayer, 900 S. 9th Street, Blackwell with Rev. Justin Rowland officiating. Burial will follow in Blackwell Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Ryan Gonzalez, Johnny Jack, RigoAlatorre, Miquel Madrid, Dalton Beard and Benito Gonzales.

Honorary casket bearers will be Dallas Jack, Julian Jack, Dexter DeLodge and Gavin Cunningham.
