An illness of five weeks duration culminated Saturday afternoon in the death of Mrs. Estella Bonnett, 59, of Blackwell. She died about 2:45 o'clock in the Southwestern Osteopathic sanitarium at Wichita.
Mrs. Bonnett had been ill for the past five weeks, spending the last two in the sanitarium. She was born on September 22, 1876 near Libertyville, Iowa. The family moved to western Oklahoma about 25 years ago, and then moved here about 20 years ago.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Nazarene Church with the Rev. A. A. Miller in charge. Burial will be in the Blackwell IOOF cemetery under the direction of the Roberts mortuary.
Surviving relatives include her husband, C. N. Bonnett of Blackwell; three daughters, Mrs. Lena Gassett of Wellington. Mrs. Ruth Harlan and Mrs. Florence Harlan, both of Blackwell; one sister, Mrs Hailey of Lamont, Mo. two brothers, Ed Williams of Libertyville, Iowa and George Williams of Hugson, Calif. and 5 grandchildren, Wendell Gassett, Gerald Gassett, Donald Gassett, Glendena Harlan, and Jerry Harlan.
Pallbearers will be George Theus, Harvey Shierrey, Chester Liggett, J. O. White, Alva Wright, and Roy Comstock. Honorary pallbearers and flower women are Mrs. M. M. Hatfield, Mrs. Morrison, Mrs. Letta, Mrs. Covey, Mrs. E. V. Potter, Mrs. W. C. Morrill, and Mrs. W. M. Missel
