Funeral services for Susan Elaine Bell, 63, Blackwell, will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Blackwell Tabernacle with Pastors Robert and Cliff Johnson officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Blackwell Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors. Susan Elaine Bell of Blackwell, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 29th, 2017 at the age of 63 years.

Susan was born on November 6th, 1953 in Blackwell, Oklahoma, the daughter of George and Betty McGuire. She attended Blackwell Public School and graduated with the class of 1972. She married Daryl Gene Bell on March 26th, 1976 in Blackwell, Oklahoma. In Susan’s younger years, she participated in Rodeo activities. She was honored to be named Rodeo Queen. She also competed in Barrel Racing. Susan was an active member of the Blackwell Tabernacle where she enjoyed and taught Sunday School for many years. She also enjoyed singing and preaching the word of God. Susan also took great pride in her three grandchildren, James Jaxon and Joel Younger. They were her pride and joy and she talked about them everywhere she went. Susan was employed at a young age where she was the youngest assistant manager at Braums. She also worked for Wal-Mart where she worked as a department manager. For many years, she was passionate about caring for young children at her in-home daycare, which is what she did clear up until she became ill. Susan and Daryl welcomed three children, Jason, Kim and Kari.

Susan is survived by a son, Jason Bell and wife Mindy of Blackwell, Oklahoma; daughters, Kim Younger and husband Jesse of Blackwell, Oklahoma, and Kari Stewart and husband Ben, also of Blackwell, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, James, Jaxon, and Joel; sister, Debbie Wallace of Chickasha, Oklahoma; brothers, Jack McGuire of Illinois, and Darin McGuire of Blackwell, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. Also surviving, Mia, her loving Shih Tzu.

Susan was preceded in passing by her spouse, Daryl Bell, her parents, George and Betty McGuire, her brothers, Tommy McGuire and Mike McGuire.

The family has selected Blackwell Tabernacle, as appropriate for memorial donations.
