Donald Ray Price, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at his home in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.

Donald was born on July 10, 1939, in Deering, Missouri, to Ray Luther and Adell (Potter) Price. Following his graduation from Meeker High School in 1958, Donald began a long and hardworking career that included employment in the freight and oil industries, transportation, and nuclear power plants. He later retired from Payton Transportation in 2004 and moved with his wife, Jackie, back to Tishomingo. A man of many talents, Donald enjoyed woodworking, refinishing antique furniture, and spending time outdoors. Above all, he treasured time spent with his family. He especially enjoyed family gatherings and cookouts and loved playing Santa Claus for his grandchildren and the little ones, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come.

On July 8, 1989, Donald married the love of his life, Jackie Seawright, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Together, they shared 37 happy years filled with love, family, and treasured memories.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Adell Price, and his brother, Douglas Wayne Price.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Jackie Seawright Price of Tishomingo, Oklahoma; sons, Kelly Don Price (Sue) of Silo, Oklahoma, and David Ray Walter Price of Meeker, Oklahoma; daughter, Michelle Price Tanner of Meeker, Oklahoma; grandchildren, David Wayne Wilson (Allie) of Cushing, Oklahoma, Crystal Dawn Price of Tampa, Florida, Levi Aaron Price of Durant, Oklahoma, and Kelly Michelle Geraldon (Charlie) of Rawlins, Wyoming; eight great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Susie Price (Douglas Price’s widow), of Henrietta, Oklahoma, Danny Price (Deborah) of McLoud, Oklahoma, Debra Price-Key (Jimmy) of Alma, Arkansas, and Diane Price-Parks (Gary) of Shawnee, Oklahoma; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Troy Cemetery in Troy, Oklahoma with Pastor Roger Speers to officiate.

The family will receive friends during Family Hour from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at DeArman-Clark Funeral Home in Tishomingo. Arrangements are under the direction and care of DeArman-Clark Funeral Home.
