Bruce William Bailey, Sr, a resident of Sulphur was born June 13, 1935 in Davis, OK to Charlie & Lottie (Morris) Bailey.

He passed away Tuesday August 18, 2020 at Sulphur,OK at the age of 85 years 2 months and 5 days.

He was married to Bennie Lou (Ledbetter) Bailey at Fort Worth, TX on October 24, 1956. She preceded him in death January 26, 2017. Bruce grew up in Davis, and later lived in Texas, Colorado and South Dakota before returning to Sulphur 40 years ago. He had worked as a truck driver and mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 6 siblings.

Survived by his Daughter & her husband: Sharon Young & T.J., of Ft. Worth, TX Sons & their wife, Bruce Bailey, Jr & Val, of Reagan, OK; Benny Bailey & Verna Jean, of Taloga, OK Sister: Della Pope, of Sulphur, OK 7 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren.

A family service will be held at a later date Arrangements by DeArman Funeral Home of Sulphur.
