Chick Eugene Cargal, 74, of Mannsville, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at the Brookside Nursing Center in Madill, Oklahoma.  

He was born on April 6, 1951, in Bokchito, Oklahoma, to the late Hoyt Chick Cargal and Lois Bernice Taylor Cargal. Chick grew up in the Mannsville area and graduated from Dickson High School in 1969. Following high school, he began his working life as a truck driver with Strongburg and Carlson. He later began a long and dedicated career with UPS, where he worked faithfully for 34 years before retiring in 2010. After retirement, Chick continued to stay active by working for Great Plain Rental for a couple of years and later owning trucks and driving independently.  On May 20, 1972, Chick married Patsy Lee Weems, in Mannsville. They shared many years together and made their home in Mannsville. Chick was affiliated with Mannsville First Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his cows, and attending dirt track racing. He was known for his strong work ethic and love for the simple joys of life.

He is survived by 

Wife:                Patsy Cargal of Mannsville, Oklahoma

Sons:               Brent Cargal of Mannsville, Oklahoma

Brandon Cargal and wife Mindy of Mannsville, Oklahoma

1 granddaughter, Brinley Cargal of Moore, Oklahoma.


He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers: Hoyt, Houston, Kenneth, and John Cargal, and James French and 4 sisters; Hazel, Lennye Gray, Carol Erhlich, and Dena Tarrant.


Casket bearers: Gary Holt, Dustin Barnes, Brandon Cargal, Brent Cargal, Richard Brownlee and Joe Tibbs
