Clark Funeral Service

Funeral Services for Mrs. Linda Nell Hairell, 71, of the Fillmore and Coleman, Oklahoma area, will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 2:00 p. m. at the Freedom Fellowship Church near Fillmore with Brother Clint Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in the Fillmore Cemetery. Mrs. Hairell passed away on March 14, 2016 at her home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
 

 

Linda was born on March 7, 1945 in Rock Wall, Texas to Herman Lavell Spence and Edna Bernice (Rooks) Spence. She grew up there and attended receiving her GED. She later took classes at Murray State College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Linda worked as a clerical assistant at the Johnston Memorial Hospital, and at the Johnston County Court House. She mostly spent her time as a homemaker.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Randy Allen Hairell and a brother, Larry Wayne Spence.

 

Linda is survived by her husband Raymond of the home, four sons, Jimmy Ray Hairell of Wylie, Texas, Tony Allen Hairell of Louisiana, Christopher Wayne Hairell of Atoka, Oklahoma and Justin Ray Hairell of Atoka, her brother, Bobby J. Spence of Bonham, Texas, her sister, Gloria Ann Cabiness of Linden, Texas and two granddaughters, Kaydin and Hailee, also other relatives and friends.

 

THE FAMILY REQUESTS THAT DONATIONS BE MADE IN LINDA’S NAME TO THE  JOHNSTON COUNTY ALZHEIMER/DEMENTIA SUPPORT GROUP.
