Funeral Services for Mr. Bobby F. Stewart, 86, of Connerville, Oklahoma will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 2:00 p. m. at the Connerville Baptist Church with Brother Jody Newberry officiating.

Interment will follow in the Connerville Cemetery.  Mr. Stewart passed away on October 15, 2018 at the Ballard Nursing Home in Ada, Oklahoma.

 Bobby was born on October 13, 1932 in Connerville to Claud S. Stewart and Lela Luman (Updegraff) Stewart.  He graduated from high school in Pontotoc, Oklahoma and married Neva Jo Bowers on June 14, 1957 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.  He is a Gold Care member of the PRCA since 1948 and competed in many rodeos in his younger days.  Bobby worked for most of the ranches in the Connerville area all of adult his life.  He was baptized in Blue River as a young man and was a member of the Connerville Baptist Church.

 
He was preceded in death by his parents.

 
Bobby is survived by his wife Neva Jo of the home; his son, Mike and wife Jana of Roff, Oklahoma; his sister, Wilma “Sissy” Cravatt of Connerville; two grandchildren, J. J. Plunk and husband Clay of Ada and C. J. Stewart and fiance’ Jordan of Shawnee, Oklahoma; also, a great-grandchild, Jayla.

 
Pallbearers for the service will be: Hal Sliger, Huck Blevins, Sam Barrett, Mike Vandevier, Colin Howell and Ricky Eaton.   Honorary Bearers will be: Joe Duncan, Jim Duncan, Johnny Tisdell, Joe Roberts, Matt Howell, Dave Martinez, Bruce Woods and Daryl Sawyer.
