Kenneth Eugene Johnson passed from this life on February 19, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born to Henry Jergen Johnson and Olga Ellena Johnson (Carlson) on January 9, 1944, in Lubbock, Texas.

Kenneth attended and graduated from Lubbock High. He married the love of his life, Joyce Lucille Johnson, on December 27, 1968, in Lubbock Texas. Kenneth was a machinist who retired from Quickset in Denison, Texas. Kenneth also served in the Army. Kenneth was of the Lutheran faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, playing dominos, watching airplanes fly by, and spending time with his family.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; Henry Jergen Johnson and Olga Ellena Johnson; brother; Douglas Johnson and wife Mary; sister; Doris Johnson Tucker and husband Max.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of the home; Joyce Lucille Johnson (Isenberg) of Kenefic, Oklahoma; daughter; Shari McDaniel and spouse Vance of Tishomingo, Oklahoma; son; Bryan Johnson of Kenefic, Oklahoma; granddaughter; Brianna McDaniel Branch and spouse Landon of Milburn, Oklahoma; granddaughter; Abbie McDaniel of Mill Creek, Oklahoma; granddaughter; Annabeth McDaniel of Tishomingo, Oklahoma; grandson; Ethen McDaniel of Tishomingo, Oklahoma; great-grand; Ryland Branch of Milburn, Oklahoma; great-grand; Luka Branch of Milburn, Oklahoma.


Family visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Brown’s Funeral Service chapel in Durant, Oklahoma.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Brown’s Funeral Service chapel with Pastor Mike Moody officiating.

Interment will take place at Coleman Cemetery with Brad Isenberg, Jeff Isenberg, Josh Dupree, Toby Isenberg, Cody Isenberg, Kelten Isenberg, and Jordan Blackburn serving as pallbearers. Serving as honorary pallbearers are, Ken Isenberg, Don Isenberg, Curtis Isenberg, Jacob Dupree, Thomas Woods, Eddie Clements, and TC Cheek.

Services are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Services.
