Jimmy Wayne Estep was born in Calera, Oklahoma on December 7, 1935. He died in Morgan Hill, California on April 3, 2016, at the age of 80. He graduated from Coleman High School in Coleman, OK and then the University of Oklahoma. He worked as an engineer at Lockheed Missiles and Space - later Lockheed-Martin - in Sunnyvale, CA, for over 35 years. He met his wife Ginnie there. They were married in 1964, and lived in San Martin, CA, since 1978.
 

Jim enjoyed dominos, horseshoes, homemade banana ice cream, camping, sports, and especially his family. He was a dedicated son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. Jim always put the needs of others ahead of his own.
 

Jim is survived by siblings Keith Estep (Diane), LaRue Willingham (Don), Marilyn Goodwin, Trudy Daniel (David), John Estep (Becky) and Kathy Estep; son Scott Estep (Kerrie), daughter Shannon Zentner, daughter Dawn Shoemake (Shoe); grandchildren Garrett, Shane, Amanda, Rachel and Kyle; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by Ginnie, his wife of 49 years, youngest son Wade, parents Ode and Maggie, and his sister Sue.
 

Pall bearers will be Scott Estep, Eugene “Shoe” Shoemake, Garrett Shoemake, Shane Shoemake, Kyle Zentner, Jeff Willingham and Rusty Daniel.
 

There will be a Family and Friends hour Friday, April 8, 2016, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Clark Funeral Chapel in Coleman, OK. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church in Coleman, with interment immediately following at the Coleman Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
