Funeral services for Bernice Warden, 100, were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Watts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth McCarthick officiating.

Interment followed at Condon Grove Cemetery, Milburn.

She was born Sept. 5, 1900, in Pecan Gap, Texas, to William Robert and Hortense Marie Boucher Morrow and died March 10, 2001, in Tishomingo. On January 18, 1919 ,she married William Clarence Warden in Milburn. He preceded her in death Aug. 26, 1976. 

Mrs. Warden had been a resident of Tishomingo since 1905. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Bullard Chapel Baptist Church and the Home Extension Club.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.  

She is survived by her sons Jack K. Warden and W.C. Warden Jr., both Tishomingo; daughter, Dorris W. Coker-Spor, Sugar Creek, Mo.; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
