Funeral Services for Mr. Amos Lee Adams, 94, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma will be held on Thursday, March 29th, 2012 at 2:00 p. m. in the Westside Church of Christ with Stuart Bailey officiating.

Interment will follow in the Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn, Oklahoma.

Mr. Adams passed away on March 25th, at the Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Amos was born on September 21st, 1917 in Milburn, Oklahoma to Henry Lee Adams and Caroline (Dunn) Adams. He attended Milburn Schools and married Oma Juanita Allison on October 1st, 1938 in Fillmore, Oklahoma. They lived in Johnston County until 1958 when they moved to California. After 20 years of farming there, they returned to Johnston County in 1979 and continued farming until his retirement. Mr. Adams was also an active member of the Westside Church of Christ and an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a twin sister and his brother.

He is survived by his wife Juanita, of the home; his son, Randall Adams and his wife Glenda of Magnolia, Arkansas; three daughters, Cleona Warren and her husband Roger of Moore, Oklahoma, Brenda Taylor and her husband Earl of Coatsville, Pennsylvania and Nita Hilton and her husband Bill of Lake City, Florida; his sister, Ruby Lee Smith of Denison, Texas; nine grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers for the service will be: Earl Taylor, Roger Warren, Bill Hilton, Sandy Houser, Mark Adams and John Anthony.

The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
