Wilma Burnett Simpson, wife of Robert Simpson, departed from this life July 5, 1938 at the age of 29 years, 9 months and 15 days at the Lubbock, Texas sanitarium. She was buried at Eldorado, Oklahoma, on July 7, 1938.

For the last two years they had made their home at Enochs, Texas. They formerly lived in the Crawford vicinity.

She became a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in 1922 and was a faithful Christian until her death.

She leaves to mourn her going her husband, Robert Simpson; two little girls, Roberta Christine age 8 years; and Leta Mae, age 6 years; a father, Mr. E. Burnett; a brother, Nelson Burnett, both of Eldorado, Oklahoma; Mrs. Mary Simpson of Crawford, Oklahoma; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lucas and son, Charles Ray of Durham, Oklahoma; and a great host of other relatives and friends.
