Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Baptist Church of Cheyenne for A.C. Ford who died in Cheyenne Saturday Feburary 21, 1953. Serivces were conducted by Rev. Carl Simonton of Reydon and Rev. Harry Comer of Cheyenne. Burial was at Eldorado under the direction of the Scroggins Funeral Home of Cheyenne.

He was born February 4, 1870 in Rowlett, Ky. and came to western Oklahoma from Texas in 1892.

He is a long-time member of the Baptist church and has been a member of the IOOF lodge for 60 years.

Survivors include two sons, William M. Ford of Leonardo, N.J., Forest M. Ford of Wichita, Kansas; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Curry of McLean, Texas; one brother, C.L. Ford of Colton, California, seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
