ROY CHARLES DUNN, II, age 60, passed away April 28, 2006. He was born January 30. 1946. in Oklahoma City, to Roy & Hazel Dunn. Roy loved bowling, golfing, fishing & hunting. He also enjoyed playing bridge, dominos, horseshoes and tennis. Roy loved going to the casinos. He graduated from Del City High School in 1964. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Oklahoma. Roy proudly served his country in the United States Army. While in Germany for three years he met his wife Rose. They married on November 19, 1968 in Basil, Switzerland. After being discharged from the Army, Roy & Rose moved to Midwest City. He then went to an Radiologic Technician school in Tulsa, and was given the Outstanding Student Award for obtaining the highest score in the nation. He started his career at St. Anthony Hospital. He & his wife moved to Moore, and have resided there for the last 23 years. Roy was a very outgoing person & will be greatly missed by all who knew & loved him. Roy is survived by his wife of 37 years, Rose Dunn, of the home, in Moore; 2 sons, Roy Charles Dunn, III, of Moore & Steven Dunn, of Tulsa; 5 grandchildren, Tara Rose, Phaedra Shea & Jenna Paige Dunn, all of Moore, Dylan Andrew & Asia Renee Dunn, both of Tulsa; 6 sisters, Betty Epley, of Yukon, Hope Jernigan & husband, Ken, of Edmond; Dicki Phillips & husband, Rod, of Edmond, Marthalie Johns & husband Rick, of Port Orange, Florida, Sheryl Jaggars & husband. Mike, of Holdenville, & Angela Jones & husband, Rick, of Moore: & numerous nieces, nephews & other loving family members & friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. Services will he held at 10:00 AM. Monday, May 1, 2006, at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel. Internment will be at 3:00 PM. at Wetumka Cemetery, Wetumka. OK. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, Moore, OK.
