Greg “Fozzy Bear” Foster, 54, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024.
He was born in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Frank Foster and Linda L. (Hanks) Foster on December 22, 1969.
Greg then was raised in Holdenville and then attended school in South Rock Creek, Shawnee High School, graduated from Strothers High School in 1988, and joined the Army soon after.
He worked for Buford White then Ferguson Interiors going out on his own, Greg's Construction, which later became Gregory and Son Construction. Upon retirement, Greg was able to work on projects at home and enjoyed helping others.
Greg married Tina J. Oglesby on June 4, 2021 at CPN Missionary Baptist Church in Shawnee.
He enjoyed taking care of his farm animals, especially Jumper, a mini Aussie, cows, chickens, and barn cats. He had many past-times, riding his 4-wheeler, fishing, hunting going to the lake, gardening and singing karaoke. He enjoyed spending his holidays like, Independence Day and Halloween, with family, and grandbabies were a focal point of his life.
Greg is preceded in death by his father, Frank Foster; sister and brother-in-law, Juree and Wendell Darnell; and grandson, Wyatt Foster.
His memory is cherished by his wife, Tina J.(Oglesby) Foster of the home; daughter, Sauncia Burklin of Tecumseh; 3 sons, Dillon (Rumer) Foster of Tecumseh; Isaac Darnell of Stuart, Oklahoma; and Clinton Darnell of Wellston, Oklahoma; mother, Linda Foster of Calvin, Oklahoma; Brother Franky Foster, Jr. of Shawnee; 4 grandchildren, Wade Foster, Harley Burklin, Willow Foster and Oakland Darnell; and Many loving friends and extended family.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Family gathering will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2024. Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Cemetery in Calvin, Oklahoma under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
