Thomas “Tom” Dale Ford, Sr.  was born in Quinton, Oklahoma on August 18, 1946 to Lusios and Ruth (Mathis) Ford. 

He passed away in Quinton, Oklahoma on August 23, 2020 at the age of 74.

He is survived by: His wife Vonnett, of the home

His children: Carol Lovell and husband, Jerry, of McCurtain, OK Tommy Ford and wife, Tammy, of Crowder, OK Jenny Nave and husband, Todd, of Crowder, OK Lyndon “Beazer” Ford of Whitefield, OK Daphne Harper and husband, Leslie, of Cleveland, OK Trisha Huggins and husband, Vince, of Stigler, OK

His grandchildren: Emily Williams, Casey Monroe, Ashley Whitehead, Megan Breedlove, Jayce Stephenson, Julie Stephenson, Weston Satterfield, Andrew Satterfield, Dylan Hutchinson, Ashlyn Todd, Jordan Harper, Josh Harper, Tommy Huggins, Brock Huggins, and Kaden Huggins.

His siblings: Faye McDonald of Kinta, OK Mark Ford of Adamson, OK Linda Reece of Warner, OK

Numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Lusios and Ruth Ford; his stepmother, Levette Ford; his siblings, Jerry Ford, Terry Ford, Glennis Brown; and his grandson, Dalton Hutchinson.

Tom was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors and gardening.  He loved watching westerns and watching Jeopardy on TV.  He was loved by many in the community and had many friends.  He will truly be missed by everyone.

Viewing will be held at Mallory Chapel in Quinton from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, August 24 and from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 25, with Family Visitation from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Shady Grove Cemetery with Rev. Luther Brown and Rev. Heath Eldridge officiating.  Interment under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
