Elda and Donald owned the Pemberton Laundry Mat in Laverne for several years and Elda worked along side Donald on the family farm before their retirement. After they retired, they moved to Woodward.

She enjoyed dancing on Friday night at the Senior Citizens Center, gardening, listening to music, puzzles, scrap booking, but most of all Elda loved spending time with her family. Elda was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her children: Terry Pemberton and wife Kathie of Laverne, Diana Pierce and husband Keith of Woodward; one granddaughter, Teresa Pierce; one great-grandchild, Stetsen Pierce, brothers: J.C. Love and wife Carole of Laverne, Emery Love and wife Lillie of Woodward; sister-in-law, Pearl Shank; close family friend, Iva Flemming; other relatives and friends.

Elda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald Pemberton, and sister Faye Schmehr and husband Don.
