The funeral for Frieda Marie Griffitts, 91, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2009, at First United Methodist Church, Buffalo. Pastor Woody Hamon will officiate. Burial will be in High Point Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wilkinson Funeral Service, Buffalo.

She was born July 28, 1917, on the family farm east of Buffalo to Suzanna Elizabeth Martin and David Hopp and died Sunday, March 29, 2009, in Buffalo. She married Cassius L. Griffitts in 1938. They owned and operated Buffalo Auto Supply Store. She was a member of Buffalo Lutheran Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Elaine Chapman of Buffalo; one sister, Rosa Alice Kinkaid of Derby, Kan.; one grandson; and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cassius, five brothers and three sisters.
