1979 - 26 May 1988

Buffalo – The funeral for Brian Eric Appleton, nine, who died May 26 after being struck in the head with the baseball, was at 2 PM Sunday in the First Christian Church at Buffalo.

Brother Jerry Balke officiated, and burial was in High Point Cemetery at Buffalo under the direction of the Myatt Funeral Home, of Buffalo.

He was a member of the Cub Scouts, and the First Christian Church in Buffalo.

Survivors include: his parents, Bruce and De'ett at Appleton; one brother, Billy Joe; one sister, Natasha Chanel; his paternal grandparents Joseph William and Iva Loree Appleton, Buffalo; and his maternal grandparents, Carl and Lois Clark, also of Buffalo.
