Joseph Clarence Anderson

 December 6, 1914 ~ April 19, 1983

Buffalo – Services for Joseph Clarence Anderson, 68, who died Tuesday in a Buffalo hospital, will be at 2 PM Friday in the First Christian Church at Buffalo with the Rev. Jerry Balke officiating at the rites. Burial will be in the High Point Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Seeger Funeral Home of Buffalo.

Anderson was born December 6, 1914, on the family farm near Buffalo, the son of William Earl and Asenith Sawyer Anderson. He and Ione Barton were married October 1, 1941, in Buffalo.

Anderson had worked for the railroad and the Oklahoma State Department of transportation.

He was a member of the first Christian Church at Buffalo.

Anderson was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his wife Ione of the home; a son, Clarence O. Anderson of Woodward; a daughter, Jaquetta Harper, Buffalo; two brothers, Estel Anderson, Cameron, Missouri, and Robert Anderson, Buffalo; two sisters, Vera Morris, Junction City, Kansas, and Gertrude Peyton of Rago, Kansas, and four grandchildren.
