Terry Lee James

Terry Lee James, age 61, passed away early Friday morning, November 30, 2012, at Harmon Memorial Hospital, in Hollis.

Mr. James was born in Merced County, California on May 31, 1951, to William T. and Alice Bell (Kizer) James. From California, Terry moved to Oregon, for a short time and then on to Memphis, Texas. In the late 70’s, he moved to Hollis where he lived until his death. A man of many trades, Terry worked as an apprentice plumber and could do just about any job in the building construction business. Very in tune to the needs of his family and others, Terry was always there when anyone in the family or his friends needed something.
Preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Norma Robertson, he is survived by one son, Jimmy James of Oregon; one sister, Nora Jerry of Vermont; one brother, Monte James of Oregon along with many other family members and a host of friends.
Graveside services for Terry Lee James will be at 2 p.m., Monday, December 3, 2012, at the O.M. Cemetery, north and west of Hollis with Tommy Caswell, officiating. Interment will follow at O.M. Cemetery under the direction of Greer Funeral Home of Mangum.
