Nadyne (Palmer) Harbour

Graveside services for Nadyn Harbour were held at 10 am Monday, December 9, 2002 at Dryden Cemetery near Hollis. The Rev Dee Willis officiated.  Visitation was on Saturday from 3 - 5 pm at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey of Waco. Local arrangements were with Patterson Greer Funeral Home in Hollis.
She was born August 16,1923 to Charles Edward and Mary Malinda Palmer, in Hollis and died Thursday, December 5, 2002 at her residence in Waco, Texas at the age of 79.

She studied accounting while attending Southwestern State University in Weatherford. She also served in the United States Navy during World War II.

On May 15, 1954, she married Jack Harbour. They were long time residents of Borger, Texas and in 1962 they moved to Los Alamos, NM, where they both worked for The National Laboratory. Nadyne worked in the laser division. They retired in 1981 and moved to Austin, Texas. From 1983 to 1984, they lived in Seoul, South Korea where Jack consulted for the U.S. Army. They have lived in Waco since 1992.

Surviving her is her husband Jack D. Harbour of Waco; daughter Kelly Gallagher and husband Richard of College Station, Texas and their children, Megan and Eric; son Gary Harbour and wife Leslie of Luxembourg, G.D.; children Lindsey, Nicholas and Kelsey; sisters Jean Upton and husband Jesse of Bartlesville and Melva Pringle and husband O.V. of Victoria, Texas; and sister- in-law, Ilene Palmer of Midland, Texas.
 
Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother Charles Palmer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials were made to Scott and White Hospice.
