Ronnie Carver passed away July 7, 2010. He was born on May 6, 1939, in Los Angeles, California, to Arthur and Clara Carver. He was the last of seven children. His parents and sisters, Naomi Williams, Pasadena, Texas, Thelma Hogg, Ft. Worth, Texas, Deanie Miller, Boise, Idaho, and brother Ben Carver, Enid, Oklahoma preceded him in death.

Surviving are one brother and sister, Chester Carver, Moreno Valley, California, and Joyce White, Chicago, Illinois.


Ronnie’s family moved to Lake Creek, Oklahoma, when he was 11 years old. He attended Lake Creek and Granite schools. He married Juanita Nadine Raulston in 1959. They lived in Los Angeles for three years and one year in Oklahoma City. He was transferred to Tulsa, Oklahoma to manage the Tulsa store for Trica Electronics. They lived in Tulsa and Owasso, Oklahoma, for 47 years. He also was manager for Boulder Furniture and worked for Fred Jones Lincoln Mercury.

His wife of 51 years, three sons – Terry Carver, Tulsa; Bryan Carver, Tulsa; and Brad Carver, Piedmont, Oklahoma survive him. He is also survived by four grandchildren – Jordan and Blayne Carver, Tulsa; Kayden and Bryce Carver, Piedmont.

Ron was born again and baptized at 31 years old at a Baptist Church in Owasso, Oklahoma, where the family lived for 16 years.

Memorial services for Ronnie Carver will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, September 19, 2010, at the Willow Cemetery with Pastor Tim Montgomery officiating. Services are under the direction of Greer Funeral Home of Granite.
