James L. Wald of Lamont, Okla., passed from this life on Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017, in Enid. Jim was 75 years old.

He was born in Hunter, Okla., and lived and farmed in Lamont since he was a young boy. The past few years, he enjoyed raising his cattle, especially his longhorns.

Jim is survived by his daughter Treisa Dugas of Fort Smith, Ark.; his son Richard Wald of Edmond, Okla.; two grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Wald of Lamont and Patsy White of Grand Island, Neb., and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and his son.

Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. today, Aug. 16, 2017, at Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017, at Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek. Burial will follow at the Pond Creek Cemetery.
