Wade Calvin Vest services Friday

Pond Creek – Services for Wade Calvin Vest, 71, who died in an Oklahoma City hospital Tuesday will be at 2 PM Friday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alvis W Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Pond Creek Cemetery.

Born in Pond Creek, Vest operated several businesses in the Pond Creek area until he moved to Stillwater where he operated a Café for several years.

Retiring about four years ago he moved back to the Pond Creek area spending his time on a farm near town.

He was a member of the Pond Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include the widow, Dora, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Max (Jean) Fellble, Moore; two brothers, Bill, Huntsville, Alabama, Harry Saudia Arabia; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Hurt, Tulsa, and Mrs. John Lynch, Lindsey, and four grandchildren.
