Phyllis Deloris (Humphreys) Schultz was born April 2, 1923 in Nash Oklahoma to Thomas and Lydia (Potts) Humphreys. Phyllis departed this earth on June 20, 2021 at the age of 98.

Phyllis was raised in Pond Creek Oklahoma where she graduated from High school in 1941 as the Valedictorian of her senior class. She then went on and graduated from Enid Business College in Enid Oklahoma in 1942. After completing her college education Phyllis worked as a bookkeeper at Farmers Grain Company in Pond Creek. On December 11, 1942 Phyllis married Merl Raymond Schultz. After marrying Merl in 1942 Phyllis became a farmer's wife and would cook and serve meals to the working men during harvest. Phyllis served in the VFW Auxiliary for many years.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband Merl Raymond Schultz; children Richard Schultz; Betty (Schultz) and Merrill Bross; Jane Schultz; her parents Thomas and Lydia (Potts) Humphreys; William (Bill) and Anita Humphreys; Richard and Vona Humphreys.

Phyllis is survived by her grandchildren Amanda Bross and fiancé Austin Reed of Edmond, OK and Adam Bross of Oklahoma City; sister Ada Lea Fitz of Oklahoma City; Woody Hawkins of Oklahoma City; nephew Greg Karnes of Oklahoma City.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday June 26, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Wilson Funeral Home in Pond Creek Oklahoma, interment will follow at Pond Creek cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Pond Creek Cemetery or the Pond Creek Fire and EMS.
