Pond Creek Cemetery



The funeral for Joe Isaacs, 38, of Seguin, Texas, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at Wilson Funeral Chapel, Pond Creek. The Rev. Mike Wheelahan will officiate. Burial will be in Pond Creek Cemetery.

He was born March 3, 1970, in Blackwell to Gary and Carlotta Isaacs and died Monday, Oct. 13, 2008, at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center, Sequin.

He graduated from Pond Creek-Hunter High School in 1988. He attended Northern Oklahoma College, Tonkawa. He moved to Berryville, Ark., in 1989 and later moved to Seguin in 1993. He was a cabler with HEXCEL Corp.

Surviving are his mother, Carlotta Isaacs of Seguin; one brother, Jerome Isaacs of Seguin; and grandparents, Bill and Betty Hignite of Enid, Leo and Phyllis Isaacs of Pond Creek.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Pond Creek Firemen’s Association or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for cancer.
