Pond Creek Cemetery


Pond Creek – The mass of Christian burial for Gary Isaacs, 44 who died Friday, January 10, 1992 in Wichita, will be at 10 AM Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pond Creek. Father Michael Hughes will officiate. Bible wake service will be at 6 PM Monday at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, Pond Creek. Burial will be at Pond Creek Cemetery.

He was born February 7, 1947, to Leo and Phyllis Davis Isaacs. He was a lifetime Pond Creek resident. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Pond Creek High School. He attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor of science degree in agriculture.

He married Carlotta Shaeter in 1973 in Jefferson. He operated a tank truck and oilfield service. He was manager of M & D Enterprises in Wichita at the time of his death. Surviving are his parents, Leo and Phyllis Isaacs of Pond Creek; two sons, Joe Isaacs and Jerome Isaacs, both of Berryville, Arkansas; two brothers, Larry and Terry, both of pond Creek; one sister, Teresa Barker of Alexandria, Virginia; and his grandfather, Ben Isaacs of Pond Creek.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandmother.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Jerome Isaacs Scholarship Fund.
